By downloading, installing, or using the SafeTogether mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

SafeTogether reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

SafeTogether is a community safety application that allows users to report, view, and receive notifications about incidents and events occurring in their neighborhood. The App provides:

• Real-time incident reporting and viewing on a map
• Push notifications for nearby events based on user preferences
• Community-based identity verification
• Emergency contact information for local services

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account and complete identity verification. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful identity information
• Keep your account credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept that identity verification is required before reporting incidents

You agree not to use the App to:

• Report false, misleading, or fabricated incidents
• Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against other users or community members
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App

The App requires access to your device's location in order to function correctly. Location data is used to display your position on the map, show nearby incidents, and send location-based notifications.

You may opt out of background location access at any time via your device settings. For details on how location data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

By submitting content (incident reports, descriptions, photos) to the App, you grant SafeTogether a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App for community safety purposes.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide, and that such content does not violate any third-party rights.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. SafeTogether does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Information provided by users is accurate or reliable
• The App will replace emergency services — always call your local emergency number in an emergency

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeTogether shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
